  The journey of each  deep tech  firm is different, as is the best time to raise money. While many businesses look for funding for months or even years, others (especially those with genuinely novel ideas or those connected to people with a proven track record of success) may skip some of the steps and move through the capital-building process more quickly. It is uncommon for businesses to receive "seed" capital or angel investor funding in the beginning.
